Dr. Jürgen Abrams is a steel expert, founder and CEO of ABRAMS Industries®, and initiator of the international trade data platform ABRAMS world trade wiki. For over two decades, he has shaped the development of precision steel, steel trading, and digital networking in the European and international steel industry.

As head and owner of the ABRAMS Group, he combines industrial manufacturing, customized steel products, and global supply chains into an integrated system for exceptional delivery capabilities of high-performance industrial steels.

Since then, Dr. Abrams has pursued a clear approach:
"CUSTOMIZED PRECISION STEEL AS A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE."

Direct access to an international network of steel mills, combined with in-house production and processing, has resulted in one of Europe's largest ranges of semi-finished products, with a focus on precision flat steel (precision ground flat stock), precision round steel, and precision aluminum/aluminium. Today, ABRAMS Industries® supplies and supports highly specialized small businesses, hidden champions among medium-sized companies, and global industrial enterprises.
His particular strength lies at the interface between material expertise, process understanding, and market logic. Dr. Abrams is familiar with the fundamentals of metallurgy as well as the requirements of modern production systems, and translates both into scalable delivery models for the international steel trade.

At the same time, he developed ABRAMS.wiki, a business intelligence portal that also serves as a global digital marketplace for steel and industrial materials, among other things. The platform is based on his scientific work on electronic marketplaces in the steel industry and provides structured access to expert knowledge about suppliers and buyers.
Dr. Jürgen Abrams stands for a steel industry that is characterized not by volume, but by precision, transparency, and technological excellence. In this context, he developed the so-called “Steelguide,” a software that helps designers and project planners identify the best possible steel for each new application based on technical properties. He was granted a patent for this globally unique development in 2013.
